International Bird Day Celebrated at Averkiy Popstoyanov Primary School

In celebration of International Bird Day, a team from the Rila Monastery Nature Park Directorate visited the students at Averkiy Popstoyanov Primary School in the town of Rila.

An educational presentation was delivered to the students, focusing on the vast diversity of birds in the region and their vital role in the environment. The initiative aimed to raise awareness among the younger generation about biodiversity conservation and the significance of protected areas.
