This year from 05.04. until 10.04 is celebrated "Forest Week", with the motto "Forest is health" 2021
During Forest Week, we foresters focus the public's attention on what a forest is, what its significance is in modern life, how difficult it is to create and cultivate a forest. For these reasons, it is important to protect forests from fires and other encroachments. During the pandemic, the Rila Monastery Naturel Park has planned the following events: Conducting an online children's drawing competition on the topic "Protected plants and animals in Rila Monastery". We thank all the participants who sent us drawings on this topic. We have provided prizes for all participants. We would also like to thank the South-Eastern Regional Directorate of Blagoevgrad for the donation, which made possible the distribution of the prizes to the young participants and the performance of many other activities on the territory of Rila Monastery with their donation activity. Another event is a virtual walk along the routes of the Rila Monastery Nature Park. For the residents of the town of Rila in the green part of the center, we have prepared an event "Discover the forest next to you". With a special application for mobile phones, you can read the Qr-code, which he refers to on the website of Rila Monastery. There are described the characteristic features of the respective tree species.
