Today we celebrate one of the greatest Christian holidays - the Assumption of the Virgin Mary.
On this day, hundreds of pilgrims traditionally flock to the Rila Monastery, and in addition to the monastery, pilgrims also traditionally go to the surrounding recreation areas, built by the park directorate.
