NEWS /Directorate of the Rila Monastery Nature Park prohibits the lighting of open fires
In connection with the announced fire season, for the period from April 16 to November 30, 2024, the Directorate of the Rila Monastery Nature Park prohibits the lighting of open fires on the entire territory of the Rila Monastery Nature Park, including the one-day recreation areas .
The ban is introduced by the Order of the Director of the DPP "Rila Monastery" No. RD 05-15 / 16.04.2024 on the basis of Art. 137, para. 3 and art. 138, para. 2 of the Law on Forests, in connection with Order OA-RD-14-64/11.04.2024 of the Regional Governor of Kyustendil Region and in connection with art. 8, item 21 from the Planning Regulations of the DPP "Rila Monastery".
We urge all visitors to observe the prohibition regimes in the Nature Park.
