First observations of the flora

First observations of the flora for this year were held in the Rila Monastery Nature Park. The monitoring started with the harbingers of spring - the snowdrops. They peek impatient from the still cold ground covered with snow.
Snowdrop is a protected species included in the Red Book of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Biodiversity Act.
The species is observed annually on the territory of Rila Monastery Nature Park, and the monitoring results show that the population of the Snowdrop is stable and in good condition.
