Forest Week - The Children and Forest of Bulgaria for the Future of a Green Europe

Starts a Forest Week - 2018, which this year will be held under the motto "The Children and Forest of Bulgaria for the Future of a Green Europe". The national opening is on 2 April at 11.00 am in the "Vazrazhdane" Hall in the town of Gabrovo. The host of the event is a North Central State Enterprise. The event will be attended by officials, foresters and officials from the country's forestry system, guests and representatives of departments and institutions.

The Directorate of "Rila Monastery" Nature Park by the Executive Forest Agency will celebrate the "Week of the Forest", which this year will go under the motto "The Children and Forest of Bulgaria for the Future of a Green Europe"

The United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 21 March the International Day of Forests (IDF) in 2012. The Day celebrates and raises awareness of the importance of all types of forests.
