Nature park "Rila Monastery" will build a trail for people with disabilities and information point 

 

Experts from the Department of Natural Park "Rila Monastery" turned the first sod on two of the activities envisaged in the project "Implementation of the management plan for the park" Rila Monastery ". Trail will be built for people with disabilities and visitor information kiosk in the "Kirilova Polyana". 

Ecotrail will be about 1.5 km long. It will be located in the most visited area of the park. The aim is to create the right conditions for people with disabilities in society contact with nature and their active participation in its knowledge. Visitors will be able to enjoy the beautiful view, suitable surface of the road, comfortable seating, benches and information boards. 

Will be built and equipped center that will provide information support and act as a control point of the park. 

The event was attended by the Ministry of Environment, National Park "Rila" DGS "Rila Monastery" Rila monastery, executor of the activities, the Abbot of Rila monastery Andrianopolskiyat Evlogii Bishop and others. 

The project is implemented with the financial support of Operational Programme "Environment" the 2007 - 2013, co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund and the state budget.
