First monitoring activities for the yearThis year the monitoring of plant species in the Rila Monastery National Park began later. Due to the long-lasting snow cover, they are only now "afraid" of plants coming out of the still-frozen ground. Last week saw the first observations of snowdrops and coltsfoot for 2022. The species are observed annually on the territory of the Rila Monastery National Park and the results of the monitoring show that the number of their populations is stable.

Spring activities in Rila Monastery Nature ParkDuring the past week, the specialists from the Rila Monastery Nature Park carried out monitoring activities in the field. From a vantage point, the chamois population is observed. Traces of her vital activity were found. Specialists from the park directorate refreshed and painted the Combined information board at the beginning of the trail for the Stob pyramids.
