Afforestation

 Today, employees of the Rila Monastery Nature Park Directorate аnd employees of the forestry Rila Monastery planted linden trees.

Dear friends, the Directorate of the Rila Monastery Nature Park organizes afforestation and cleaning. ???? We will be happy if you join us, tomorrow (Thursday) from 10.30 am in the area "Gorhim" for planting linden trees, and then we will clean the area of Obedishte. We are waiting for you! ????

First monitoring activities for the year

This year the monitoring of plant species in the Rila Monastery National Park began later. Due to the long-lasting snow cover, they are only now "afraid" of plants coming out of the still-frozen ground. Last week saw the first observations of snowdrops and coltsfoot for 2022. The species are observed annually on the territory of the Rila Monastery National Park and the results of the monitoring show that the number of their populations is stable.
