Monitoring of protected plants and herbs

In July experts from Rila Monastery Nature Park conducted an observation of protected plant species in different  parts of the park. Monitoring carried out in the areas of Iliina river, Tiha Rila, near peack Kalin and others.

Press conference

Today, at 10.00, a press conference on the activities of the Forst Directorate took place in the hall of the Regional Forst Directorate - Kyustendil for the first half of the year. The press conference was also attended by the director of Rila Monastery Nature Park Directorate - Eng. Dimitar Grigorov, who introduced the activities of the Directorate and the forthcoming activities. 

Building a feeding site for vultures

In the area under the peak of Desiremiitsa on the territory of Nature Park "Rila Monastery" began construction work of a site for feeding birds of prey. The activities are carried out within project BG16M1OP002-3.007-0013-C02.

Day of herbs

The Rila Monastery Nature Park Directorate celebrated the Enyovden(Day of Herbs) with activities at the Alen Mak Kindergarten in the town of Kocherinovo. Children from all groups were familiar with the different types of herbs, their importance to humans, ways of proper picking and storage.
