Day of herbs

The Rila Monastery Nature Park Directorate celebrated the Enyovden(Day of Herbs) with activities at the Alen Mak Kindergarten in the town of Kocherinovo. Children from all groups were familiar with the different types of herbs, their importance to humans, ways of proper picking and storage. 

Workshop for stackeholders

On 15 June, a stakeholder seminar was held in the Rila Monastery Nature Park within the INOViMENTOR project, funded under the Interreg Balkan-Mediteranean program. German forest owners visited the nature park

Today, a meeting of park experts with forest owners from Germany was held in the information center of Rila Monastery Nature Park. The biodiversity of the protected area was presented and the uses on the territory of the park were discussed. guests visited the Rila Monastery and the park's dendrological path.

Visit to Rila Monastery Nature Park

Austrian  foresters together with their colleagues from the Forest Institute visited the Rila Monastery Nature Park Information Center. The guests visited the areas of Obediste and Kirilova Polyana, where they had the opportunity to see beech and coniferous forests.
