Students learn about the flora of Rila Monastery Nature Park

Today, experts from Rila Monastery Nature Park visited the school St.P. Hilendarski in Dupnitsa, where they presented a presentation on the flora of the park. Students from Nature and Science Club have a strong interest in biodiversity and environmental protection and have learned about the protected plants of the Nature Park with great interest.

Autumn in kindergarten

Today, an expert at Rila Monastery Nature Park visited the children of the first preparatory group in the kindergarten in Rila. Kids have learned interesting facts about deciduous and coniferous trees and their fruits. Through a fun game, they learned how animals stock  with food for the winter, and at the end of the event they made a beautiful picture of autumn leaves.

Students from Forestry university visited Rila Monastery Nature Park

Today, 25.10.2019 the students of the specialty "Ecology and Environmental Protection" at the University of Forestry held their study practice  in the visitor and educational center of the Nature Park "Rila Monastery". Visit to the Information Center of Rila Monastery Nature Park

Today, the children  the kindergarden Dr Todorа Miladinova, Rila visited the information center of the Rila Monastery Nature Park. There, they were greeted by a park expert who told them about the species of trees in the forests of the nature park, the animals that live in them, and the benefits that trees bring to humans. As a reminder of today's educational visit, the children received keychains - walnuts to remind them of their new knowledge of tree species.
